This is the PPS Grublock Motor Mount Kit for the Hobao Vte2!
This kit includes the main motor mount and the spool mount, and are sold as a set.
Featuring the popular precision PPS Grublock gear mesh adjustment system, and a new capability to side load the spool without major disassembly!
This is made of 6061 T6 aluminum, and is way thicker and beefier than the stock mount.
It features both 25 and 30mm motor bolt patterns, and will accept up to 58mm diameter motors.
I use TTC to describe the gear range for this mount. TTC is the number you get adding the pinion teeth and spur teeth together. So a 34t pinion and a 34t spur adds together to make a 68 TTC.
This mount will work with this range of gears:
Small Can Motor (25mm screw spacing) TTC Between
60-91
Large Can Motor (30mm screw spacing) TTC Between
65-96

Order a motor mount from PPS on December 3rd. And it still hasn’t arrived. Emailed multiple times without anyone reaching out or replying. Can honestly say I’ll not be purchasing anything from this company again. I’ve only put one star as putting zero isn’t an option

Love this motor mount! The quality and prevision of PPS motor mounts is truly unlike any other on the market. This is my 3rd or 4th motor mount and I will continue to buy them from PPS! The original VTE2 mount is very weak/floppy this PPS version is very rigid, has the prevision gear mesh adjustment, and the amazing side load spool setup. Its a win win win win!
